Kathmandu. The case of Nepali Congress leader and former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam was not heard even today. The hearing could not be held due to various reasons. Even the case has not been heard yet. The hearing could not be held today as demanded by the Opposition’s lawyer for adjournment.
The district court and the high court had ordered to send Alam to jail on the charge of burning a man alive in a brick kiln in Rautahat. Alam had filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the order. Alam’s petition has been fixed for hearing. He was arrested on 26 Ashoj 2076.
