Kathmandu. Shubham Health Care Products Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of quality Australian brand AIWIBI Australia’s diapers and baby care products in Nepal, has donated 5 million rupees in cash to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the victims of the Bhotekoshi flood.
Shubham Health Care Products raised support from the sales of IVIVI products to help families affected by the Bhote Koshi flood. The collected support amount was reportedly handed over as a check to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle. While handing over the check, IVIVI Nepal’s Managing Director Beauty Kumari Sarraf said she felt proud to be able to lend a helping hand during the disaster.
She said that it was possible to contribute 5 million rupees in just three days thanks to the cooperation and trust of the general consumers, retailers, and dealers who buy IVF products. “Thank you Prime Minister, thank you Home Minister, thank you Finance Minister, army, police, civil servants, volunteers, and my heartfelt respect to all the hands of relief that rose trying to break through the flood,” she said. Addressing the consumers, she said, “A big, big thank you to all the uncles and everyone. Without your support and help, we wouldn’t have been able to donate this 5 million cash to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund today.”
She made it clear that this support has been possible only because of the consumers buying IVI products. “In the past, if we hadn’t made any profit by selling IVI products, we wouldn’t have had the courage to donate this amount. If you hadn’t bought them now, even 5 million couldn’t have been collected in three days,” Sarraf said.
According to her, in the past three days, 100 percent of the amount spent by consumers on buying IVVI products has been collected into a relief fund of 5 million rupees. “This donation isn’t from IVVI, it’s from you. Everyone has a part in this, from the moms, the effort of the retailers, to the trust of the dealers. We made this possible by building on that trust,” she said.
IVI ran a relief campaign during disasters to help affected families, involving its consumers, retailers, and dealer networks as well. Sarraf said she felt extremely proud to be able to act as the coordinator of IVI’s support campaign. ‘I feel really proud to be the coordinator of all this,’ she said.
