The chief guest of the program, Energy Minister of Bagmati Pradesh, Basanta Prasad Manandhar, expressed happiness over the generous act of blood donation while maintaining social distance even in the midst of Omicron terror.

Stating that there can be no greater charity than a blood donation, he pointed out that such creative works need to be done everywhere. He also informed that the government of Nepal is going to make arrangements for the needy and helpless people not to buy blood from now on. Minister Manandhar thanked the philanthropic clubs for distributing testimonials and tokens of affection to the volunteers and other donors who donated their precious blood at a time when the world was terrorized by the Corona infection.
