NewDelhi: Team India defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in a one-sided fashion in the first match of the three-match series. India bowled out Zimbabwe for 189 runs in 40.3 overs on the back of a brilliant performance by the bowlers. Deepak Chahar, Prashant Krishna, and Axar Patel took three wickets each.
After this, on the basis of half-centuries of openers Shikhar Dhawan (81) and Shubman Gill (82), the target was achieved in 30.5 overs without losing a wicket. The second match between the two teams will now be played on August 20.
