Kathmandu: Devendra Poudel, MP of the Maoist Center, has requested the government not to lower the ceiling of the budget in the upcoming fiscal year 080/81. He said this while participating in the discussion regarding the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday.
He argues that the ceiling of the budget should not be reduced even if it is done by increasing the tax range and taking concessional loans. MP Paudel stressed the need to improve the financial system by taking foreign subsidies, controlling corruption, and controlling corruption.
“I would like to suggest not to think about reducing the ceiling of the budget too much,” he said. Don’t be afraid. That’s why one billion is not a big thing since we went towards bringing foreign subsidies, increasing the scope of taxes, regulating the taxes that are stuck in trouble, regulating the illegal ones, reducing corruption, and improving the financial system.
