Two houses washed away in Tatopani

Myagdi, May 13 : Two houses were washed away in the floods triggered by heavy rainfall today in Bhurung Tatopani in Annapurna rural municipality-2. The houses of Lete Giri and Bal Krishna Mijar were washed away in the floods, ward member Bir Bahadur Poudel said. Two other houses were damaged by the floods water from the Thado river and landslide from Tilakharka.
Locals and police worked together to rescue those affected by the disaster. Meanwhile, public transportation along the Beni-Jomsom road has been stopped due to floods in Begkhola along the road.
