Sijapati lifts Dharmashree Bodybuilding Championship title

Kathmandu : Milan Bikram Sijapati has won the 15th Dharmashree Nationwide Open Bodybuilding Championship in the Capital today.
He lifted the title by beating his six contenders in above 80 kg category. Sijapati got Rs 500,000 in award. Likewise, Mahesh Maharjan has become runner-up, while Ram Bahadur Dahal is second runner-up, Prabesh Shrestha third runner-up and Sanjib fourth runner-up. Aashish Debaju was announced fifth runner-up and Suresh Khatri sixth runner-up. Each of the runners-up received Rs 200,000, Rs 100,000, Rs 90,000, Rs 80,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs 60,000 respectively.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun and Nepali Congress leader Bhimsen Das Pradhan jointly distributed the awards, the trophies and certificate amid a programme held following the completion of the Tournament. Organised by Nepal Byayam Mandir, the Championship was attended by 400 bodybuilders from across the country.
