Kathmandu : Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the government has accomplished the activities of long-term and strategic importance in the last six months. “Foundation of the economic development has been prepared; agreement on transit and connectivity made as the railway link from China and India to Kathmandu; joint initiation taken on solving the inundation problems in Nepal-India border, etc,” Chairman reminded, adding that the contact office of Indian Embassy in Biratnagar was also removed.
Chairman Dahal chronicled the government’s activities as the significant efforts while addressing a greetings exchange programme organized by Kageshwori Manohara Municipality on Friday. It was therefore wrong to make false argument that government failed to do anything good in the country, he asserted.
According to him, the international flight used to get only a single entry point, while there are dozens of others now. The agreement allowing Nepal to use seven ports of China to boost trade and transit with China and other countries is equally important, he appreciated the government. The government as he said has given top priority to development and economic prosperity
Dahal assured the people that the dusty roads in Kathmandu Valley would be blacktopped soon. The Chairman however said the CPN was facing both the historic opportunity and challenges.
Reactionary forces active to founder government
Lalitpur : Chairman , Pushpa Kamal Dahal has blamed that reactionary forces inside and outside of the country were hatching conspiracies to founder this government. At a programme organised by CPN, Lalitpur, here Friday on the occasion of Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals, Chairman Dahal said the CPN has become stronger after the unification between the two communist parties.
He further said the review of the unification process and the work for the people was made time and again between him and the Prime Minister.
On a different note, the CPN Chairman said all roads of Kathmandu Valley would be blacktopped within few months and added that the government was ready for the same. Dahal further said the representatives of Nepal and India have agreed to resolve problems of embankments and roads.
