Rastriya Janamorcha objects to Resham’s oath taking

Kathmandu, Jan 4 (RSS): The Rastriya Janamorcha has showed severe concern over administering the oath to Resham Lal Chaudhay, a convict of the Tikapur carnage, as the member of the House of Representatives.
Issuing a press release on Friday, Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC said it was wrong to administer the oath to Chaudhary who was remanded to custody at Dillibazar for his involvement on Tikapur incident. It is condemnable to recognize him as the lawmaker, added KC.
Despite having adequate majority to the government, giving recognition to Chaudhary who was behind the heinous crime is against constitution and morality.
Nine persons including a toddler and security personnel were killed in Tikapur incident. Following the carnage, Chaudhary fled the scene. Later, through his representative, fielded his candidacy in the election to the House of Representatives and got elected from his town. RSS
