Lucknow. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh is no more. At 9 pm on Saturday night, he breathed his last at the age of 89 at SGPGI, Lucknow. Kalyan Singh was hospitalized for 48 days. The mortal remains of the former CM were kept first at his residence, then in the Legislature, and finally in the BJP office for the last glimpse.
The body was brought to the Aligarh Dhanipur airstrip by air ambulance at around 4:40 pm. From here, the body was kept in a truck decorated with flowers and brought to the Ahilyabai Holkar Stadium, 13 km away at 5.50 pm, and kept it for the last glimpse in the ground. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present during this.
