They sought to eliminate and save the leader: Senior Congress leader Poudel

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the age limit system in political parties is unnatural.
He has alleged that the age limit of 70 years has been imposed in the CPN-UML and some elements have been used in the game.
In Tanahun, Poudel said that there would be an age limit to “eliminate some leaders and save some leaders”.

Speaking in Tanahu, Poudel said that the UML had set the age limit at 70 in the previous general convention. He said that two popular, democratic, loyal and charismatic leaders within the UML have been killed. It took 70 years for democratic and honest leaders like Bharat Mohan Adhikari and Siddhilal Singh to finish.
