Kathmandu. Two ordinances have been approved in the House of Representatives amid opposition from the main opposition party UML. The ordinances submitted by Law Minister Dilendra Prasad Badu have been approved. Today, the Parliament has approved ‘Ordinance to Amend Some Acts Against Sexual Violence, 2078’ and ‘Ordinance to Amend Some Acts on Criminal Offenses and Criminal Procedure, 2078’.
As soon as Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota started the meeting, UML lawmakers protested with slogans. The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on Wednesday.
