Kathmandu. Participating in the anti-corruption movement held in Naxal, Kathmandu on Saturday, Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai said that he has doubts that there will be a fair investigation because there is no stable majority government. Bhattarai said that due to the lack of a stable government, he doubted that the fake Bhutanese refugee case would be investigated impartially.
If I am not a criminal, I don’t need to run away. Citizens should be alerted by the streets, houses, and government. The people are warning the corrupt people will not go away. People have said that evil cannot escape if they continue to warn in the same way. Citizens are protesting that they are trying to settle the issue of Bhutanese refugees internally. The police issued an arrest warrant saying that UML leader, former deputy prime minister Top Bahadur Rayamazhi, Congress leader, and former home minister Balkrishna Khand were involved in the Bhutanese refugee case. Former Home Minister Khand is in prison while former Deputy Prime Minister Rayamazhi is absconding.
