The opposition party’s stance of not allowing the parliament to function until the Prime Minister resigns

Kathmandu. The main opposition party CPN-UML has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Speaking from UML, MP Raghuji Pant warned that Parliament will not be allowed to function until Prime Minister Dahal resigns. UML said that Prime Minister Dahal’s statement during the release of Sardar Pritam Singh’s book that he had visited Delhi several times when he was the Prime Minister and had supported him to become the Prime Minister had shocked the hearts of Nepalis. At this time, Nepali people have been shocked. The self-respect of Nepalis has fallen. Nepali people are crying,” said UML MP Pant.

He said that Nepalis are the children of brave sons and said that the Prime Minister cannot be greater than the dignity of the nation. We are the children of Bhakti Thapa, Amar Singh, and Valbhadra Kunwar. MP Pant said that if the prime minister is a bigger thing than the dignity of the nation and if not, he should not be the prime minister on the basis of morality, he said that he will not allow the parliament to function until the resignation of the prime minister.

When Speaker Devraj Ghimire tried to proceed with the Parliament meeting, the opposition parties of UML even surrounded Rostam. Along with the UML, parliamentarians from the opposition parties Rashtriya Swatantra Party and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party also blocked the parliament. Speaker Ghimire adjourned the meeting for half an hour.
