Kapilavastu. Saksham Subedi of Banganga Municipality- 4 Thakurapur of Kapilvastu, who was the best in Kapilvastu by getting 4 GPAs in SEE 2079, has been awarded one lakh rupees. Horainjan English Special Secondary School, where he is studying, presented a check of one lakh rupees to Subedi. During the convocation ceremony organized by the school, a team including Banganga Mayor Chakrapani Aryal, and Prajia Shankarhari Acharya handed over a check of 1 lakh to him.
The school announced giving 1 lakh in cash to the student who gets a 4 GPA in SEE. On that occasion, Mayor Aryal said that Saksham has held the city and district’s head high by bringing four GPAs.
He said that there has been a change in the approach taken by other districts in the city because of the good result in schools in SEE. He said that due to their efforts to strengthen the education status of the city, the status of education has improved. In the program, other students parents, and teachers who passed the SEE from the school with good marks were also honored.
In the program, the principal of the school, Vasudev Ghimire, said that the students of the school got 4 GPAs in both the years of SEE 2078 and 2079 and named their school. He said that his school emphasized quality education. Saksham, who brought 4 GPs to the program, said that his success was due to his parents and school teachers. He said that he wants to become a mathematician in the future and do something in the country. On Sunday, the team including the students who got the best marks in the SEE also went around the city including Bajagaza.
