Next budget will balance all- Finance Minister

Kathmandu, April 26 : Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada has said the new budget would adopt balancing approach for Madhesi, Dalit, indigenous nationalities, farmers and professional workers. He said this at a pre-budget discussion of the fiscal year 2075-76 BS organized by the Management Association of Nepal in the capital today.
“The budget should encompass resource management and productive sector investments”, Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada said, adding that, budget management witnessed complications in the past years when it was formulated by incorporating over-burdened projects.
The upcoming budget would end existing policy of double taxation, he shared, adding the budget would also enable environment for investors to flow their money in productive sector. On the occasion, various people representing private sector said that there is no more environment for running industry while stressing the need of checking price of equipments.
