Bhimduttanagar : With the ongoing protest in the district turning violent, the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur has enforced curfew in riot-prone areas today.
The local administration clamped curfew in ward no. 18 and 4 of the Bhimdutta municipality from 5.00 pm today to 5.00 am Friday.
Chief District Officer Kumar Bahadur Khadka informed that the curfew order was enforced in line with the Clause 16(a) of the Local Administration Act-2028 BS.
