Free basic services to all

Dhanusa : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Upendra Yadav has said that the government was preparing to provide basic health services for free to every citizen. A proposal for free basic health service has already been tabled in the parliament, he said while sharing that every ward in the country will now have a health centre. Inaugurating the new building of OPD service of Janakpur Zonal Hospital here today, he said the government will open health institutes in every town, village and ward to ensure free basic health services for all.
Stating that Province No. 2 lags behind in terms of health service, he urged the provincial government to name the zonal hospital as the provincial hospital. The hospital should also be transformed into a medical college in order to make Janakpur a medical hub. The health minister also shared that the government had formed a study committee in order to construct a cancer hospital in province no. 2.RSS
