Kathmandu : Most of the parts in the country will witness change in weather with snowfall and rain in the upper hilly areas, said the Meteorological Forecasting Division. Issuing a press release on the prediction of the weather for coming three days, the Division said some parts of the country will see light rain and snow in the upper hilly area.
The effects of the Westerly wind that entered the country from the west is tailing off toward the east. However, the weather begins to gradually improve from Sunday, said senior meteorologist Min Kumar Aryal. Because of the westerly wind still active, as the meteorologists said, some parts of the west, central and eastern regions of the country were getting rainfall. However, with the rainfall, the Westerly wind weakens, he added.
Although the temperature is stable, people in the Kathmandu Valley have felt cold since early morning. It is because of the weather change, according to Aryal. The recent update of the Division puts the minimum temperature at 7.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 18 degrees Celsius in the Kathmandu Valley. The rainfall is recorded four millimeters.
