Kathmandu. The International Relations Committee under the Kathmandu House of Representatives met the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Congratulations to Dr. Narayan Khadka, and best wishes for a successful tenure. The committee called Foreign Minister Khadka at a meeting of the committee held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday and wished him success in his tenure.
Speaking at the meeting of the committee, Foreign Minister Khadka said that all issues including MCC, border, dam, BRI should be passed only on the basis of consensus and credibility. He also said that issues should not be raised without consensus and against the national interest.
Minister Khadka said that things should not be passed against the interest of the nation and the decision should be taken only after investigating whether the agreed issues are in the national interest or not. Minister Khadka said that if one voice is raised while the other is in power, the credibility with the foreigners will be eroded and suggested to make an agreement only after studying all the agreements.
