Jhapa. CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepali Congress has cultivated lies and dishonesty in its manifesto. President Oli said that Congress has given evidence of dishonesty by including the topic of railway construction in the manifesto.
Speaking at the joint election meeting of UML and RPP held today in his constituency Damak, Jhapa, President Oli accused the Congress of writing in its manifesto to build railways to deceive the people. Congress, which used to laugh at us when we proceeded with the construction of the East-West Railway, has now written in its manifesto that the railway will be built to deceive the people. We have done that. Now, when the process of distributing the compensation for the railway land was about to proceed, our government was overthrown,” said Oli.
Oli also said that despite the big challenges, the government under his leadership has created unusual development in a short period of time. President Oli also made it clear that in order to develop the country, it is necessary to form a government led by UML.
He also said that the coalition government was formed in an immoral and unnatural manner and was running under the clutches of corruption and commissioners.
