According to the police, an unknown person shot at two police officers in the parking lot of a hotel in Khanewal city.
The assailants fled after firing. He is being searched for. Al-Qaeda Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan TTP is suspected to have carried out the attack. Even the army and ISI have not said anything on this issue yet. According to a report in The Express Tribune, both the slain officers were working on a case. They were staying in a hotel in Kanwal. He was talking in the hotel parking lot when he was killed. At that time, a person reached there and shot from close range. According to the police, both policemen died on the spot. According to media reports, the names of the slain officers are Naveed Sadiq and Nasir Abbas. Naveed was the director of intelligence agencies of the Multan region, while Nasir Abbas was an officer of the inspector rank.
According to the police, the assailants came there on a motorcycle and immediately shot and fled. After the incident, the IG and other high officials of Punjab province reached the spot. According to an officer involved in the investigation, both officers were investigating a case related to terrorism. It is suspected that he was killed by Al-Qaeda terrorists. Although the activities of Al-Qaeda in Pakistan are very less, there is a terror of TTP here. Recently, TTP also attacked the country’s capital, Islamabad. One policeman died and two others were injured.

If these attacks do not stop, we will enter Afghanistan and kill these terrorists. We know in which part of Afghanistan and TTP terrorists have taken refuge. Weapons also come from there.

They are active in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Waziristan. Afghan Taliban and Pakistani Taliban have the same goal or idea. Both fundamentalists want to implement Islam and Sharia law. TTP has said that Pakistan is a semi-Islamic country and Sharia law should be fully implemented here.
