Kathmandu. According to the Weather Forecast Division of the Department of Water and Meteorology, there is a possibility of rain in most parts of the country from Thursday night to Saturday. According to the Meteorological Division, there is a possibility of rain in many places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini in the next 24 hours as Monsoon winds are active across the country.
Heavy rainfall has also been assessed in some areas of the state. The division has also forecast windstorms in many places of Terai in Gandaki and Lumbini and a few places in the rest of the Terai. Now it is raining in a few places Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim. The division has mentioned in the bulletin that it is expected to be cloudy all over the country on Friday and rain will be concentrated in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. On Friday night, it is likely to rain in Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim.
On Saturday, many places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim and some places in the rest of the province are likely to experience heavy rains. According to the weather forecast division, there is a possibility of a storm in many places of Terai of Madhesh, Gandaki, and Lumbini and a few places of Terai of the rest of the province for three days.
