Washington. Khalistani supporters set fire to the US consulate in San Francisco. However, due to the interest of the fire brigade, the fire was brought under control immediately and no human casualties were reported in the accident. Along with this, America strongly condemned this incident and asked to take action. According to media reports, some Khalistani extremists set fire to the American Consulate in San Francisco on Sunday, July 2, between 1.30 am and 2.30 am. The fire quickly spread to the consulate. However, after informing the fire brigade immediately, the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. It is a matter of respect that there were no human casualties in this accident. Khalistani fundamentalists also made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media.
Allegedly, Khalistani fanatics are circulating posters on social media targeting Indian Ambassador to America Taranjit Singh Sandhu and India’s Consul General Dr. TV Nagendra Prasad. Khalistani has accused these two of killing Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. The US government has also expressed concern over the incident of arson at the Consulate General of India in San Francisco and condemned the incident. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller issued a statement and said, “The United States strongly condemns the arson incident at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. Vandalism or violence against foreign diplomats or embassies in the United States is a crime.
A few months ago, supporters of Khalistan attacked the Indian consulate in San Francisco. During this pro-Khalistan slogans were raised and the protesters broke the security barriers and placed the Khalistani flag on the consulate premises. Earlier, supporters of Khalistan also attacked the Indian Embassy in London. A notable issue is that earlier Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in Canada. In opposition to this, supporters of Khalistan are preparing to protest in many cities including Vancouver and Toronto in Canada. The Government of India has appealed to the Government of Canada to take immediate action against the supporters of Khalistan.
