PM Oli calls for participation in prosperity campaign

Kathmandu, April 11 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that only an esteemed nation, practical democracy, national unity with diversity and stability can lead the country towards prosperity. Speaking at the 52nd annual general assembly of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Industry and Commerce Day here today, he urged the industrialists and businessmen to join the campaign of making the country prosperous. He also expressed the confidence that the goal of prosperity would be achieved through public-private partnership.
Lauding the effort of the FNCCI to industrial promotion through expansion of its network in all the provinces, Prime Minister Oli said the agriculture, forest and other resources available in the country should taken ahead in an innovative way, and that the government is ready to support the private sector in that regard.
He also gave assurances to consult the industry and commerce sector while formulating economic policies and expressed the government’s readiness in improving the necessary regulations, administrative and practical aspects.
At the programme, President of FNCCI Bhawani Rana urged the government to develop energy, enforce a one-door system, reform old legislations, guarantee interest rate and avoid double taxation.
