No imitation of revolution: Chair Dahal

Kathmandu, April 28 : CPN (Maoist Centre) chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the revolution could not be imitated but only developed in a new way. While welcoming the Biplav-led CPN’s cadres to his party at his residence in Khumaltar of Lalitpur today, Chair Dahal said no one can copy their decade-long war. “Time and context is different from then to now,” he said.
Chair Dahal, also former Prime Minister, opined that all parties should be united to safeguard the achievements made by the various movements including ‘people’s war’. He said some reactionary forces became successful to split the Maoist party, (the largest party in the first CA election) which delayed promulgation of the Constitution.
On another note, he said that the unification between his party and CPN (UML) will take concrete shape within few days. Sindhupalchok district in-charge Chiran Tamang, secretary Kamal Majhi among other leaders joined the Maoist Centre today. While joining the new party, they said that the Biplav-led party had adopted wrong path in the name of revolution.
