Briefly discussing the new party’s policy, Chairman Nepal also claimed that his party would make agriculture the foundation of Nepal’s economy as Nepal is an agricultural country. He said that his party would give importance to seven issues including a solution to squatters’ problems, education, health, and employment. The Unified Socialist Party has adopted a policy of not distributing party membership to government employees. At the press conference, Nepal UML appeared aggressive against Chairman KP Oli. He also accused Oli of having a party in Balkot on the day the party broke up, saying he was not allowed to stay at the party.
