Kathmandu. UML chairperson KP Oli has remarked that Madhav Kumar Nepal set out on a pilgrimage after setting fire to his house. Addressing the Kathmandu district level extended training program on Thursday, Chairman Oli said, “Madhav Nepal set fire to his house, rubbed ashes on his forehead, and went on a pilgrimage.”
Oli has accused Madhav Nepal of playing games on the future of the country, the people, and millions of cadres. “Madhav Nepal has been running the party for 15 years and has become the prime minister. Now he has nowhere to go,” he said. He also urged the cadres who went with Dahal to return.
“Whether you are a party worker or Dahal’s domestic worker, I call on my friends in the name of the Maoist center to return to the UML,” Oli said. Expressing indignation over the formation of a Congress-led government by overthrowing the communist government, Oli said, “I had given some ministers. Now let’s see if Deuba has given Dahal and Madhav Nepal ministers.” What happens after Dahal? Let’s join the united UML. ‘
Oli also warned the government not to provoke the people and to retaliate. Addressing the program, Chairman Oli objected to the use of force against the people. “The government has used force against the people by abusing its power,” Oli said. “Don’t provoke the people, don’t retaliate.”
