After a heated argument between Deuba and Poudel, Deuba walked out: The convention date of the municipality was postponed again

Kathmandu. The meeting was broken up after a heated debate between Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and another leader Ram Chandra Poudel. Deuba left the meeting in the middle of a meeting between party officials and former office-bearers convened by party president Deuba at the party’s parliamentary party building in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

During the meeting that started at 3:45 pm, Deuba was shocked when Poudel demanded an answer on the issue of postponing the NRN election, the municipal convention to be held on September 26, and the party’s decision to appoint him as a minister.

After Poudel asked for an answer with the proposal, Deuba got up and started walking shortly after the meeting started. But some leaders had accommodated him. After that, Deuba, who had been sitting for some time, walked out of the meeting saying that he should go to the meeting of the five-party alliance.

Even after the departure of Chairman Deuba, other leaders had decided to postpone the date of the village and town convention in the context of the general convention. Accordingly, it has been agreed to postpone the date of the upcoming 9th September, Village-Town, 12th October Provincial Assembly Constituency and 15th Federal Constituency Convention a decade earlier and the District and Provincial Conventions later.
