Kathmandu. Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on January 8 due to corona and pneumonia, where she breathed her last. With the demise of ‘Bharat Ratna’ Lata Mangeshkar, there is a wave of mourning in India as well as in Pakistan and Nepal.
Many fans including President of Nepal Bidiya Devi Bhandari and PM of Pakistan Imran Khan, Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif have shared their posts on social media and expressed their grief over the demise of Lata Mangeshkar.

President Bidiya Devi Bhandari wrote- I am saddened by the news of the demise of famous Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar, who has decorated many Nepali songs with her melodious voice. I pay a heartfelt tribute to the late Lata Mangeshkar, rich in extraordinary talent.
Pak PM Imran expressed grief by tweeting
Imran Khan wrote, With the demise of Lata Mangeshkar, the subcontinent has lost one of the great singers of the world, whom the world knows. Many people all over the world were relieved to hear his songs.
