Kathmandu. Addressing a press conference organized by CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the party’s Parisdanda office, Prachanda said that the local level election on April 12 would not be postponed under any circumstances.
Stating that the rumors in the Nepali media that the local elections would be postponed unexpectedly were based on mere speculation, Dahal urged the government not to follow unnecessary rumors as the election was being held at a fast pace and the Election Commission had already made final preparations for the elections.
Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Dahal also appealed to the general electorate to contribute from their respective constituencies in the preparations for the April 13 election.
