If my boy has the power, he will sit in my place:  Bal Thackeray’s interview in which he said this about Uddhav

Mumbai. ‘Hriday Hindu Samrat’ Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena is feeling the need to prove whether Thackeray is a Hindutva Shivsen or not. When Rajat Sharma was asked a question about his successor in a program named Aapki Adalat with India TV, the answer which he had given, was correct today or what you say was accurate, today time has kept it clear.

Amidst the ongoing political upheaval in Maharashtra, now an interview of Balasaheb Thackeray is going viral again. In this interview, the Shiv Sena founder can be seen giving his view on his successor and Uddhav Thackeray.

In fact, at one time, Balasaheb’s successor was considered to be Raj Thackeray. Raj Thackeray was as fierce as Balasaheb and his politics against North Indians were at their peak at that time. On the other hand, Uddhav was walking with his father but was not as furious as Raj Thackeray. After this, when it came to choosing the successor, Balasaheb put his son Uddhav Thackeray on his chair.

In a program named Aapki Adalat with India TV, when Rajat Sharma asked him a question about the successor, he had said that if his son has strength, he will sit on his throne. He said- “I myself will not do that my boy will sit on your head, I will not do this, but if there is someone in the boy, he himself will come, will come forward.”

Further, when the anchor asked the question about familism, Balasaheb said that it means when your son is unfit and you put him on the throne. He said- “If my boy has guts, he will sit”. After this, when the anchor questioned Uddhav’s strength, Balasaheb said- “Now there is a boy, how can I say no.

Let us inform you that these days Balasaheb’s name is coming prominently in the politics of Maharashtra. While Shiv Sena’s group of rebel MLAs is calling themselves staunch devotees of Balasaheb, Uddhav Thackeray says that the rebel group should not use his father’s name. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that Eknath Shinde’s faction should ask for votes in the name of their father, not in the name of Shiv Sena’s father, that is, Balasaheb’s name should not be used by the rebel group.
