Demand for permission for employees seeking voluntary retirement

Kathmandu, May 5 : Nepal Civil Service Employees Union has stressed on verbatim compliance with Civil Service Act 2074. At a press conference held on Friday, Union’s Chairman Gopal Prasad Pokharel stressed on need on part of the government to implement the Civil Service Act and added only its implementation could make people feel its presence.
Pokharel said that 9,682 employees had chosen voluntary retirement until now. He also called for immediate implementation of the plan for voluntary retirement as per the Act’s provisions, and expedition of the process of employees’ integration.
