Kathmandu, Jan 12 : Journalist Gangadhar Parajuli has been appointed the chair of Minimum Wages Fixation Committee (MWFC). The meeting of the Council of Ministers today appointed Parajuli to the post for two years. The vacancy to the post was announced through an open competition and Parajuli was selected out of eight competitors, said Ministry of Information and Communications.
Parajuli is involved in journalism for around 25 years. He also served as the vice chair of both the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) and Nepal Press Union. Likewise, Parajuli, a resident of Kaski district, had served as the Board of Directors of Rastriya Samachar Samiti.
