‘Police in Tole- Tole’ campaign launched

Kathmandu, June : The Nepal Police has come with the ‘police in tole-tole’ campaign aiming to strengthen peace and security situation at local levels. The campaign was launched today in every tole (localities). Inspector General of Nepal Police, Sarbendra Khanal, inaugurated the campaign amidst a ceremony at the Nepal Police headquarters and with this it has come into implementation at every locality. On the occasion, he insisted on the need that police should strongly stand against any wrong tendency in the society.
Stating that he as the Chief of Nepal Police was committed to earning the identity of a model security force for the institution, he directed all in the police administration to work in that way so that results could be achieved towards this end.
Home Ministry’s Joint-Secretary Ram Krishna Subedi wished for the success of the campaign. Former AIG Govinda Thapa was of the view that the Nepal Police should try to win the hearts of people through effective service delivery. The programme was launched in line with the Home Ministry Reforms Roadmap- 2074 BS.
