Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, 1,330 people have been infected with Corona in Nepal. The Ministry of Health and Population said on Tuesday that 1,036 people, including 1,036 people who tested positive for PCR and 1,936 people who tested positive for 3,966 antigens, were infected with the coronavirus.
In the last 24 hours, five people have died from corona infection and 1,830 have recovered. With the addition of Tuesday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 786,577. At the same time, the number of deaths in Nepal has reached 11,053 and 754,000 people have been infected.
The number of actively infected people across the country is 21,524, out of which 20,164 are in home isolation and 1,360 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 335 are being treated in the ICU and 107 in the ventilator, according to the ministry.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 261 cases of corona infection have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 106 in Kaski, 98 in Lalitpur, 96 in Morang, and 71 in Sunsari. According to the ministry, 68 people have contracted corona in Chitwan, 51 in Jhapa, 43 in Bhaktapur, 39 in Rupandehi, 20 in Makwanpur, 14 in Kailali, 13 in Nawalparasi East, and 11 in Kavrepalanchok.
