District health offices to be continued until August

Kathmandu : The District Public Health Offices will remain in existence until upcoming August. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadav told that the offices will be managed under the local levels after three months.
He added that the recent Cabinet meeting had decided to continue these offices for three months. He argued that the offices could not be scrapped without establishing similar institutions the under local government units, as they were essential to cope with possible natural disasters in the rainy season. He also opined for making health and education sectors free from politics for maintaining the quality in the sectors.
