Kathmandu. The Nepali futsal team playing in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers has been sent off. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bade farewell to the futsal team on Tuesday. ANFA President Karma Chhiring Sherpa, General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar, and others bade farewell to the Nepali team. Head coach Gaurav Basnet has already announced the 14-member squad for the selection.
At the farewell function, ANFA President Sherpa urged the people to perform the game with high morale and informed that ANFA will continue to organize the game of futsal. Nepal is in Group B under the Central and South Zone of the selection to be held in Kyrgyzstan. Nepal’s group includes Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan.
