Kathmandu. Chairman of the ruling CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, has proposed to make one of CPN United Samajbadi president Madhav Kumar Nepal and CPN-UML leader Subhash Chandra Nemwang a candidate in the presidential election.
Oli made such a proposal in a two-hour-long discussion with Maoabadi Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday afternoon. Baluwatar sources said that in the meeting with Prime Minister Dahal, UML President Oli was of the opinion that everyone would accept Nepal or Nemwang for the presidency. In the meeting, Oli also asked Prime Minister Dahal, “What is your understanding of the agreement of Pus 10?”
In response, I heard that Dahal proposed Madhav Nepal as president, so what is the reality? He said that he had a curiosity. After Oli named the leader of Nepal, Dahal said that he would discuss it with other parties as well. The meeting held on Wednesday of the United Socialist Party decided to accept the proposal for the president. Earlier, UML had been expressing dissatisfaction saying that Prime Minister Dahal was close to the Congress regarding the President.
