Ex VP Jha bats for referendum to decide secularism

Kathmandu, Jan 18 : Former Vice- President Paramananda Jha has opined for going in referendum to settle the secularism in the country. Speaking at a programme organize to honour Swami Hemananda Giri by World Hindu Federation, Nepal in the capital Thursday, Jha opined for going in referendum over the agenda adding that restoration of Hindu state was essential for national identity. The Federation’s acting chair Shankar Poudel blamed that secularism was imposed in the country by foreign pressure as it was not the genuine agenda of Nepali people.
