Last rites of senior neurosurgeon Devkota to be performed today

Kathmandu, June : Leaders of different walks of life have offered their tribute to late senior neurosurgeon Prof Upendra Devkota at Neuro Hospital in Bansbari from this morning. Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, politician Hisila Yami, CPN leader Bamdev Gautam, General Secretary of CPN Bishnu Poudel, leader Pampha Bhusal, former speaker Subas Nembang, State Chief of Province 3 Anuradha Koirala, senior cardiologist Bhagawan Koirala, State Minister for Health and Population Padma Aryal, Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri and others paid their tribute to the senior neurosurgeon who passed away on Monday evening. It is said that the last rites of Dr Devkota would be performed today itself at Pashupati Aryaghat.
