Jajarkot. In Gairiguwa, Ward No. 2 of Junichande Rural Municipality, Jajarkot, a jeep accident has resulted in the death of two people and three others were injured. The jeep with the number plate Karnali Province 02001 Ch 1243, which was going from Surkhet to Junichande, went out of control around 2 a.m. today and fell about 300 meters off the road.
In the accident, the jeep driver Sant Bahadur Basnet, 20, from Junichande Rural Municipality-9, Kalli Syala, and Dilbahadur Bhandari’s 30-year-old wife Bina Bhandari from Junichande Rural Municipality-3, Syala, died on the spot. Dilbahadur Bhandari, his four-year-old son Sushil Bhandari, and 50-year-old Sitla Tamta were injured in the accident. It is reported that the injured sustained injuries to their head, neck, chest, arms, and back, and their condition is moderate.
All three injured have been sent to the Provincial Hospital in Surkhet for further treatment. More details about how the accident happened are yet to be available.
