Kathmandu: The government has decided to implement health and safety measures in a systematic manner to avoid the risk of Covid-19 as the crowds may increase during the festive season.

A meeting chaired by Acting Prime Minister Bal Krishna Khan at the Home Ministry in Singha Durbar on Monday discussed the issue of urging all concerned ministries and agencies to adhere to the standards with more vigilance. An informal meeting of the Central Security Committee said that lessons should be learned from the past experience of cowardice due to negligence.

The meeting was attended by Defense Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal, Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka, Health and Population Minister Virodh Khatiwada, General Administration and Federal Affairs Minister Rajendra Shrestha, secretaries of various ministries and security chiefs.
